This bouy in Keys West is suppose to mark the southern most point in continental USA. It also seem like every building nearby lays claim to "southernmost" These claims are not accurate. Land on the Truman Annex property just west of the buoy is the true southernmost point, but it has no marker since it is U.S. Navy land and cannot be entered by civilian tourists. |
