Chivas are the traditional buses of Colombia. They comprise of a wooden frame and are painted in bright colours. These days, chivas are used for organised tours around cities and usually serve aguadiente a type of strong alcoholic drink mixed with music such as Meringue. The result is a sort of party bus and people often cheer when a chiva drives past them.
