Santa Barbara is a suburb in the district of Usaquén in Bogota. The suburb has many attractions for tourists including the Church of Santa Barbara which dates from 1665 and Square Usaquén (Plaza de Usaquén) which was the main square of the village of Usaquén and is now encompassed in the city of Bogota. The sqaure still retains it's old world charm and colonial architecture.
There are also a number of shopping areas including Hacienda Santa Barbara located in between 5th and 6th and streets (calles) 118 and 119 and Unicentro on Avenida 15. A fleamarket called Mercado de las Pulgas and many road side stalls sell Colombian arts and crafts.
