Settlements in the Amazonas region of Colombia are generally small and range from primitive to basic. Leticia is the biggest town in the Amazonas followed by Puerto Nariño. Other settlements include: El Encanto, La Chorrera, La Pedrera, La Victoria, Mirití-Paraná, Puerto Alegría, Puerto Arica, Puerto Santander, and Tarapacá.
